Hello everyone, let’s discuss #Devin and its impact on the software development industry. Firstly, let’s set the record straight - Devin isn’t here to replace software engineers. It’s here to assist and make our tasks simpler. #SoftwareDevelopment #TechSupport Now, ?????? ???????????? ???????????????? ?????????????????? ???? ?????????? ?????????? ????????? Well, think about the ???????? ?????????? dedicated to debugging, the constant search for ???????????? ??????????????????, and the manual process of fixing bugs. It can feel like a never-ending struggle. However, with Devin assisting us, all those manual tasks become effortless. #StreamlinedProcesses #Efficiency ?????????????? ????????: you could potentially double your software output in half the time. Yes, that's correct. Tasks that previously required a month can now be completed within just a couple of weeks. This translates to not only more software but also increased profitability and heightened productivity. ????'?? ?? ????????-???????????????? ??????????????????. #SoftwareDevelopment #Innovation So, while Devin is helpful, let's remember it's still being improved. It's not quite ready to handle all of software development alone. Therefore, let's welcome it as what it truly represents - a supportive tool on our path to develop exceptional software. #LinkedinPost #Devin #Technology

I hired a few software engineers 2 weeks ago. I do NOT give them a lunch break or let them sleep. They are all named Devin. Here's my strategy for working with these new employees: Step 1. Prioritize and execute high value tasks for myself. Step 2. Delegate low value tasks to the new employees. Step 3. ??? Step 4. Profit #SWE #SoftwareEngineering #Devin

It's the nature of the beast. Software engineers want challenges, and challenges tend to last for 3-6 months. This is why building your team with contractors at the heart of it is the way forward ? Just saying........... we are djr ??? #softwareengineering #softwaredevelopment

I worked for Testbook for 2 years and 7 months, during which I always praised the way Testbook operates and its work environment. However, after joining Classplus , everything changed, and now the official working hours have become 11 hours. The situation worsens when one has to leave the office at 10 p.m. The issues are: 1-Female security: I have seen instances of theft and misbehavior happening right outside the office premises. 2-If an agent leaves at 10 p.m., what will they do for dinner? Most people live in PG accommodations where kitchens aren't open late. I believe that increasing the time to enhance productivity isn't necessary. In telesales, one should focus on: 1-Call per lead 2-Duration between two calls 3-CRM hygiene 4-Daily motivation But this approach doesn't seem right to me. The situation has reached a point where without notice, employees are being laid off for P&L reasons, then mass hiring occurs, followed by firing again. This has become a dirty truth of the EdTech industry. #PromoteWorkCulture #WomenSafety #WorkCulture #StopHarrasment #BadLeadership

As I reflect on my 19-week intensive journey to becoming a software engineer Galvanize Inc , I can't help but think about how many of us harbor ideas, dreams, and goals. Yet, we've let life lull us into complacency. I believe we're all destined to achieve something monumental in this beautiful world. If you had told me a year ago—or, heck, even six months ago—that I would become a software engineer, I would have given you the most bewildered look. LOL. But there's a certain beauty in flexibility; be open to change, whether it's your career, mindset, or goals. If you're not getting where you want in life, perhaps it's time for a drastic, even shocking change. The kind that might make your family and friends think you’ve lost your mind! Trust me, it’s worth it. I must say this: I've done many things in my life, but becoming a software engineer and seeing the sheer volume of creativity I can wield to build just about anything—is one of the most satisfying things I've done up to this point in my life. To my classmates, you have inspired me to step outside my comfort zone—because yes, I can be quite introverted—and push myself to the limits. You all are brilliant, and I am thrilled to continue this journey with you. So, I'll leave you with this: keep an eye out for my "Day in the Life" tech videos! LOL. While theories, stunning visuals, presentations, and discussions are valuable, nothing speaks louder than the working code you craft, as everything else is merely a means to an end. As a Software Engineer, you have a unique advantage in showcasing your skills through tangible results. ??

One thing you have to do as a software engineer is know when to stop. When is the avenue you're going down the wrong path? When should you pivot to something else? When is good enough, good enough? It can be easy to fall into the 'sunk cost fallacy' where because you've spent time on it, you deem it more valuable than a lightweight superior alternative. But it's not more valuable, and is actually one of the biggest contributors to technical debt. Get comfortable stopping. Get comfortable throwing the cr*p away.
