Our new training provider client had failed OFSTED again. Another fail and it was all over. We had a strategy day with Val and her management team, who were all very downbeat, waiting for the sword of damocles. We helped focus their minds, concentrate on what they are good at, where the potential is and what the future could look like. They got through OFSTED, and more than that they tripled the business to over ￡5.5m turnover in the next 3 years before we introduced them to a larger organisation who acquired them. Val went on to be a key player and leader of that larger organisation, an outstanding leader. Sometimes that help from outside can make all the difference.
