Last week ITE Met Section in collaboration with C2SMARTER Center at NYU Tandon School of Engineering hosted students from Bard High School Early College to celebrate National STEM/STEAM Day. It was very fulfilling to see the students having a very enlightening and appreciative experience during the event. The event included an interactive roundtable of transportation professionals and also provided students with the opportunity to sample different aspects of transportation engineering for themselves.?Wearing Virtual Reality headsets, students got to create and experience their own VR work zones. They also learned about Computer Vision technologies by interacting with the sensors and cameras in the C2SMART Lab. #STEM #STEAM #STEMDay #Transportation #Students
