I made a post about this around 2 years ago, but feel I should repost due to the relevance still, and the fact my impressions on LinkedIn suck really bad. why use a specialist ? I drive a niche old car and this requires me to use a Subaru specialist with many years in the game.This comes at a cost normally double per hour, compared to the average car mechanic. I'm happy to pay the extra because I know that the car will be always running optimally and will save me money in the long run and save me from having big headaches. I know that the advice I get from them is valid and I always listen to their recommendations on what should be done and what is possible. I would never dream of using their services and not listening to their expert advice. I guess you could say the same goes for recruitment. NOT using a specialist on your niche roles will potentially cost you a lot more in the long run. yes, we cost a little more than the average recruiter, but we have your back 100% and value your time. we will always offer realistic advice and never set a false expectation. I also listened to messages about the Bible during my drive, taking my walk with God more seriously over the past three months. This journey is not easy, but it’s worth it as I learn to be more disciplined in life. ?? Customer Interaction: I had a fantastic interaction with a friendly and patient customer who came in to purchase a vehicle for their high school-aged daughter, paying in cash. Their story and approach to life were truly inspiring. The wife was definitely the hammer in negotiations, but it was all smiles and laughs. She was really having fun during the negotiation, and we came to an accord. And who knows, they might buy another vehicle from me within a week or so! ???? My personable and fun approach really helped seal the deal. ?? Learning and Growing: Today, I learned the importance of working a pencil with confidence. Sure, it was a negotiation back and forth, but I made it fun and light-hearted for the customer. Building rapport and trust with clients is key, and it helps ensure that even the negotiation process is enjoyable. ?? Gratitude: Thank you, God, for the opportunities and learning experiences today.
