Hey, everybody out here on the side of the HSBC building project. I'm here to let you know how you can be a part of history. As you can see, the steel columns are almost all the way up. In fact, they're going to be done putting the steel up at the end of the month. But there is one piece of steel, the last piece of steel that they're saving for you. Whiting Turner and the Burlington School District are inviting you to sign the last beam. So if you want to have your name inside this building, we're going to show you how to do it. Come on, let's go. So the first thing you're gonna do is you're gonna pull into our lower parking lot, come on down Institute Rd. past the first couple of entrances, and park in this parking lot that is closest to our athletic fields. Once you get here, you're going to walk on down and you can see that the route has been laid out for you. Are you here for the beam signing? Let's follow this sidewalk. And so we've made our trek upward now at the corner of North Ave. and Institute Road. And what we're gonna do here is we're just going to cross the street and head over to the Whiting Turner trailer. Hey, you've made it this far. You are almost here. We are outside the Whiting Turner Field trailer. We are at this little pedestrian gate. The first thing you're going to do is find this QR code. This QR code is going to let them know who's here to sign the beam. Speaking of who's here, look who I found. Hey, Jeff Hayes, Class of 1980. Also the Burlington High School athletic coordinator. Welcome to the new school and the signing of the beam. You ready to help these people? I am ready to go. Let's go. Let's get this done. The little handle here come on inside. Bam, we're here tonight. Take a look. Isn't this thing beautiful? Alright, once you get to the beam, you need a marker, right? We're going to sign this thing right here to the trailer. Go ahead. And Jeff, you're going to go ahead and just knock on this door and they're going to hook you up with a marker. Hello hey, yeah I'm here aside DHS love plus 1980 athletic coordinator. I'm excited to be the first one signing would be. There it is. What side the beams going in the new high school. That's it. That's how you can be a part of history. The beam will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 4:00. Now, really important is we had to walk quite a ways to get here. If you're in a wheelchair or if you have other mobility issues, if you need accessible parking, reach out directly to Whiting Turner. They will hook you up much closer to the beam. Thanks everybody.
