For the period up to?21?July 2024, worldwide available cargo capacity was up 2% compared to the same period in 2023. The share of freighters has been relatively stable, dropping only 1 percentage point to 52% this year. For Asia Pacific we see a very different picture: air cargo capacity increased +11% year-on-year. Moreover, the share of air cargo capacity on freighter flights is 11 percentage points higher than the worldwide average, but it did come down from 67% in 2023 to 63% this year.
