?? Did you know? An Executive Order is a directive issued by the President of the United States to manage operations of the federal government. ???? These orders have the force of law and are used for various purposes, such as implementing or enforcing laws, addressing urgent issues, managing federal operations, and advancing policy agendas. Executive orders can be controversial because they allow the President to act without Congress's approval, potentially upsetting the balance of power. However, if Congress disagrees with an executive order, it has several options: passing legislation to override it, challenging it in court, restricting funding, or holding hearings to investigate its impact. These measures ensure that executive power remains checked and balanced. Understanding executive orders helps us see how the executive branch can influence policy quickly and decisively—and how Congress can respond. Know your power! ??? #ExecutiveOrder #Civics101 #TheFUNManifesto
