Last night at the Erie Sports Commission's Sports Tourism Awards, the Barber Beast on the Bay won the awarded for "2024 Locally Managed Event of the Year." In addition, race director Laura Schaaf and Beast Builder Andy Zimmerman were recognized for their impact on the Erie sports scene through our events. Join us in congratulating them both on this honor, and on Laura's recent retirement from the Barber National Institute.
