Top 3 photos: Part 2. A very different photo from the first, and a very different moment. This was taken on a Lomo LC-Wide camera, using a Lomochrome Metropolis 100 - 400 film - expired 03/2023, and was the first time I’d used either, so had no idea how it was going to come out. Shortly before the scheduled time for the grid walk ahead of race 2 at Snetterton I left hospitality for the garage, when it started raining… biblically. Soaked through, I arrived at the pits and stood with the team and Jake as we waited for the rain to end. Looking out into the pit lane, it had water flowing down it and back onto the track. There was no way the race would be happening anytime soon, and this is when this photo was taken. That look, you can see what he’s thinking, “We can’t go out in that”. Is this photo underexposed? Yes. Are the colours a little off? Yes, and I’ll probably not use this film again. Do I wish I’d used my ‘proper’ camera? Not a chance, because I don’t think he would have been as relaxed and as unguarded had I been pointing it at him. #Photography #WeAreLaserToolsRacing #MBMotorsport #BTCC #LaserTools #Partnership #Sponsorship #TeamTC #ToolConnection
