Lynk Global, the leading satellite-to-phone provider, and Slam Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, have announced a definitive business combination agreement. Upon completion, the merged entity will be Lynk Global Holdings, Inc., listed on Nasdaq as "LYNK." With Lynk's proven sat2phone technology compatible with any unmodified cellular device from 2G to 5G, the company aims to connect billions globally. The $800 million transaction, expected to close in H2 2024, will be facilitated by BTIG, LLC, raising capital to launch more 'cell-towers-in-space.'
