NIGHT SHOOT ON THE STREET - FRI 28 JUNE ?? We had a bunch of good, honest, #2a loving people turn out for our Night Shoot on the Street. ?? We left it "shooter preference" what they wanted to train - some wanted to test their equipment at night, and go heavy...others wanted to run light and go CCW/EDC, Active Shooter scenarios, from both a holster and carry-bag, platform. ?? Everything is different at night; it all becomes somewhat slower, more deliberate. ?? There are so many factors to consider - angles, direction of travel, depth perception, visibility, threat identification, use of white light, rate of fire, managing by-standers, weapon manipulations/malfunctions, all require a little bit more thought. ??
