Welcome to?Faces of Fasset?- a new initiative we are launching today to give you a sneak peak into what it’s like working at Fasset, through the eyes of our team. To start off, we spoke with Umar Khan, who was one of the first members to join the Fasset team. We asked him what made him join Fasset, and how his journey has been over the last 3 years. Why did you join Fasset? I was working in the UK before I joined Fasset, and Fasset gave me the opportunity to move overseas for a startup that was tech-focused, mission-driven and operating in a new and exciting industry! I also wanted to experience the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment, and I got exactly that. At Fasset, there is a much stronger sense of ownership and accountability than any other company I worked for before. What do you like most about Fasset? Definitely the team and the culture! At Fasset, I am surrounded by super talented and passionate people. Working on problem-solving with such people not only makes my work easier but also more enjoyable! What have been your most memorable learnings? With the right mindset and approach, there are no problems, just challenges! Reframing problems as challenges has personally been a transformative perspective shift for me. How has Fasset helped you shape your career? During my time at Fasset, I’ve had the opportunity to wear multiple hats and gain a huge amount of experience in a short span of time. The exposure that I have had has really helped my professional development and growth. If there is one thing you could share about Fasset with the world, what would that be?
