#Please dont ignore this post. Hi guys, I hope you all are doing great. Yes, most of you are not knowing me, but I have a genuine and humble request. I have been looking for stable job for almost two years and I am truly on the edge. Despite I have applied for thousand vacancy, and a few interviews, unfortunately I haven't received any job offers even after clearing rounds. It seems that maybe the luck is still not on my side. I never expect that how mentally draining I am when it comes to jobhunting. #opentowork can be one of the most financially and emotionally draining experiences especially when you have a lot of commitment on you. By writing this open letter, its an alternative way for me to get a job or at least being noticed. The word "unfortunately","regret","not be proceeding",in my email is really killing me. As someone who has reviewed countless resumes over the years, I've noticed that many candidates include details that are better left out. Adding unnecessary or irrelevant information can actually hurt your chances of getting shortlisted. Here's a quick rundown of what to leave out: ??Marital Status Whether you're married or single doesn't impact your job ability. It's personal and irrelevant. ??Religion Same as above. Employers don't need to know this, which has no bearing on your skills or fit for the role. ??Hobbies Unless it's directly related to the job you're applying for (like travel if you're joining a tourism company), it's better to skip it. Being passionate about hiking won't necessarily help you land that finance role. ??Unprofessional Email Addresses If your email username sounds like one from the early 2000s (e.g., "aimanstylar@..."), it's time for a change. Stick to something basic and professional. ??Long Paragraphs Recruiters don't have time to read essays. Use bullet points to clearly highlight your key experience and achievements. ??Irrelevant Work Experience If you're applying for an HR role, mentioning that you worked as a barista is probably not necessary unless it highlights relevant skills like customer service or team management. ??Missing Contact Info: I still see candidates forgetting to include their phone numbers or LinkedIn profiles.
