Throwback Moment! Once I had the opportunity to visit Napa Valley one of the most prestigious wine regions around the world 50 miles to the northeast of San Fransisco. Here is what I observed The art of making wine is all about the process. It's a balance of science and intuition. The process starts from soil to grape to barrel. Much like crafting your message. It starts with knowing your audience. They are the soil. Dig in deep. Understand their pain points, worries, and aspirations. Then comes the grapes. Choose the right words, the right tone. Be intentional with your language. Craft a message that speaks to the heart of your audience. Then, the barrel. The message needs structure, flow, and refinement. Edit, edit, and edit. Keep what's necessary, remove what's not. Make sure that every word counts. Finally, the aging process. Allow your message to sit. Fine-tune it until it's ready to be served. And, remember – the best wine needs time. The best message needs care and patience. Crafting a message is like making wine. Pour your passion into it, and you'll see it come to fruition. #Throwbackthursday #winemaking #communication #presentation #craftingmessage LinkedIn LinkedIn Guide to Creating LinkedIn News

Have you ever reflected on the future? "In the dimly lit cellar of an ancient vineyard, where the air is thick with the whispers of centuries, I stumbled upon a treasure. It wasn’t gold or jewels—it was something far more intoxicating: a bottle of?vintage wine. Each bottle tells a story, encapsulating the essence of a specific year and the artistry of the winemaker. This one, with its faded label and fragile cork, held secrets that begged to be uncorked. And so, with trembling hands, I did just that." This is a passage I read in my new book "Wine & War", it made me reflect on future partners, and you might be thinking how can wine correlate to a future prospect? well... Every person has a unique story that holds the artistry of knowledge they have gained over the years. My goal is to help extract that artistry and use it to positively impact others around the world. And so, my dear friends, I invite you to join me on a journey. Let us raise our glasses to the future of online education. Let the vintage wine weave its magic, blurring the boundaries between what you can and cannot do. Will you uncork the future with me? click the link below to book a free call with me. https://lnkd.in/eKddaN3e P.S. Remember, life is too short to drink bad wine.

Pingüino In Argentina, there’s a tradition that comes in the shape of a penguin. It’s not an actual penguin, of course. It’s a wine pitcher. Stout, simple, and shaped like the bird. They call it a pingüino. It holds wine—usually red, usually meant for sharing. The pingüino has been part of Argentine tables for generations. It started in old cantinas, where workers would gather after long days. Bottles weren’t practical, and something about a carafe felt more natural. Someone decided to shape it like a penguin. No one knows exactly why. Maybe it was a joke. Maybe it just felt right. Either way, it stuck. The wine in a pingüino isn’t fancy. It’s the kind of wine you drink with friends or family, the kind that pairs with laughter and loud conversations. In the cities and in the quiet of Patagonia, the pingüino became a part of life. A pitcher of wine, a simple meal, and good company. That’s all it ever needed to be. Lately, people have started making new versions of the pingüino. They’re more polished now, made for the modern table. But the idea is the same: it’s not about showing off. It’s about sharing something real, something simple. The pingüino doesn’t demand attention. It just sits there, waiting to be poured. There’s a lesson in it, if you’re looking. Wine isn’t about labels or rules. It’s about people. It’s about passing the pitcher, filling a glass, and forgetting for a while about everything else. The pingüino reminds you to slow down, to enjoy what’s in front of you. I’ve considered shipping pingüinos into the US so people who drink Familia Morgan can share in this custom. What do you think?

I'm really proud of this review from the Wine Advocate. Our vision of making world class wines from the Riverland has taken belief, time, energy, support from many great friends and being a bull in a China shop at times. We named our wine 'Bullets Before Cannonballs' based in a concept in Jim Collins' book Great by Choice. The strategy of firing bullets (low-cost, low-risk, low-distraction experiments) to figure out what will work—calibrating your line of sight by taking small shots. Then, once you have empirical validation, you fire a cannonball (concentrating resources into a big bet) on the calibrated line of sight. Calibrated cannonballs correlate with outsized results; uncalibrated cannonballs correlate with disaster. The ability to turn small proven ideas (bullets) into huge hits (cannonballs) counts more than the sheer amount of pure innovation. At Ricca Terra we continue to fire bullets to calibrate our aim! Over 30 years ago our 'big bet' (our cannonball) was the Riverland. Getting such great feedback from international wine writers, wine shows and our customers suggest our aim was spot on. Visit our website or visit your local bottleshop to get some Bullet Before Cannonballs.
