I started by learning about it to youtube and first start it's prectical on my home's desktop. after it I join a job as a system trainee in NPCL office and start to learn more things and done hands on prectice in offices to resolve issue.

I am so excited to have completed the "IT Help Desk for Beginners" course on LinkedIn Learning! In this course, I learned the fundamentals of IT support and how to assist people with their tech issues. It emphasized the importance of strong communication skills; how to talk to users, listen to their problems, and explain solutions clearly and effectively. I also became familiar with common tools used by IT help desk professionals, such as ticketing systems, remote desktop software, and troubleshooting methods for various tech problems, including issues with computers, networks, and software. The course also covered key topics such as setting up hardware, understanding security basics, and staying calm under pressure while resolving problems. Overall, it provided me with a solid foundation for helping people solve their tech issues in an efficient and effective way. I'm now looking forward to applying my knowledge in internship roles as an IT Support or Help Desk Technician. #helpdesksupport #technicalsupport

Today, I retired … semi I just completed the most surreal day in my career. I retired from my full time Classified position at LAUSD. However, I also took a very important step in my new part-time career. During the day I said goodbye to many of my current coworkers, but also began to say hello to some new ones. I ended my over 22 years in Information Technology Services (previously Information Technology Division). I also submitted a large portion of my on-boarding paperwork for my new career in the LAUSD Division of Adult and Career Education (DACE). I start my story with what I find one interesting observation. I just obtained a Preliminary Teaching Credential in the single subject area of Information and Communication Technologies. (Note: The relevance of the title will become clear as we move through our story.) My first adult job was a career in the field of radio communications at a local radio station in the city next to where I was raised in the San Gabriel Valley. I spent a few years at various stations before serving briefly as an Interior Communications Technician in the US Navy. Returning to my career in radio communications, I was introduced to a new phase of my career journey, Information Technology. However, it was during the beginnings of this new phase that I got a small taste of something I really enjoyed – teaching. I was allowed to teach a few introductory courses at a SGV adult school. I guess I could get corny here and tout a Mr. Holland’s Opus story, but it was a job that I was taking until I got my “big break” and went to catch the wave of that ever elusive “dream IT position”. Instead, I made it a career that helped provide for my loving family, a lovely wife Yolanda and our lovely daughter, Samantha. It also left me with some great memories. During my LAUSD career, my passion was content creation and training. It included creating support websites, customer teaching aides, and even providing customer and technician training. One of my most recent experiences was to do an impromptu training on an important task our group needed to do. It caught the attention of one of our professional trainers next to me by how quickly I pivoted from meeting to training mode. So now, while I will primarily be teaching Information Technology courses, I find it rather interesting now having a credential with a name that covers the two major areas of my entire career – Information Technology and Communications. I am starting off slow by being put on the Substitute List thanks to the sponsorship of our Venice Skills Center. I want to especially thank two staff members that are helping me get “my feet wet”: Ms. Julieta Flores, for eagerly putting in a request to be added to the Substitute Teacher List. And Mr. Robert Yorgason, for connecting me with some powerful teaching tools for IT adult learning and taking me under his teaching wing. And now, I think I will take a little rest for a couple of weeks …

There is a revised assessment plan now available for the very popular Information Communications Technician (ICT) L3 apprenticeship standard. It's great to see the grade cap changed so that where any assessment method must be re-sat or re-taken, the apprentice may be awarded a maximum EPA grade of merit. Personally, I don't think a grade cap should apply for any apprenticeship at L3 (or even at L4), so I see this is a positive compromise on a standard that will benefit many apprentices.
