Today we announced another milestone moment for Bobit as I passed stewardship of this incredible Company and First Class Team to Colin Sutherland.?I’ve included a link that shares more about Colin’s history, vision and excitement in leading Bobit forward. I will be transitioning on from Bobit at the end of this month.?I joined Bobit on March 2nd, 2020, as it’s CEO, just days before the storm of the pandemic set in.?Together with my teammates, I stepped up and we figured out how to survive and reinvent ourselves through those difficult headwinds.?And we emerged from that moment as a company that is much More than Media: -?Print is no longer a financial liability, but a complimentary and productive offering for advertising partners seeking best-in-class brand awareness.? -?Events are larger, stronger and growing faster than ever in our history.? -?Digital lead gen solutions grow and prove incredible value to our telematics and fuel card partners, each day meeting their expectations of quantifiable ROI. -?Custom Content Studio allows us to support our advertisers marketing needs with world class creative… unlocking dollars we as a company had never tapped into before. -?We have built our own Lakehouse database and today own, control and know more about our audience to ensure we are providing the best content experience possible. We have modernized our brand, moved it from being a legacy print media company and transitioning it to an innovative marketing and data solutions company.?Simply put, our 60 year young business is aligned and set up for incredible growth over the next 10. I sincerely appreciate my time here at Bobit.?It’s been a privilege.?I’ve learned much from each of my teammates, our partners, and above all, our loyal and vibrant audience. My next steps are still to be determined.?My professional focus has been on Bobit, and only Bobit.?I plan to take a few weeks and reset (hopefully watch my Padres take home the National League Pennant) but I don’t plan to sit out of the mix for too long.?Opportunities abound.?My mind races.?Applications built on generative AI models are rapidly changing how we work, move, and communicate.?I know it and feel it every time a Waymo in Santa Monica drives me to coffee, Gemini builds me an itinerary for a trip to Columbia, or a Teams Copilot Bot takes notes and captures action items from my meeting.
