New payments feature for Shopify Plus: You can now capture payments with each fulfillment. Previously, the entire amount (already authorized during checkout), could be captured during checkout, when the entire order is fulfilled, or manually. Now, the funds amounting to each fulfillment can be captured automatically when you fulfill the items. Why choose this? - To increase customer trust. Customers only pay when you send them the items. - For accounting reasons. Money and goods exchange are performed at the same time. You can choose this under Settings / Payments / Payment capture method. There are some limitations, e.g. the allowed period between authorization and capture is 7 days. (The feature doesn't seem to be available across all Plus stores as of this moment.) #shopifyplus #shopify #ecommerce
