Jerry W. Dobrovolny, Chief Administrative Officer, from Metro Vancouver started the #SWAN2024 conference with an inspiring keynote presentation. One important takeaway from the talk: “What worked in the past is all gone”. Christian Wiklund from Roslagsvatten continued with presenting how they are introducing change management practices to support the big transition that they are introducing to support the growth of their municipalities and their ambitions to be one of the most efficient utilities in Sweden. The first presentations mentioned many times, that both big and small utilities are facing new challenges that can’t be solved the old way.
