Forty years ago, daily physical activity wasn’t widely recognized as essential to healthy living. Today, it’s common sense. What if we applied that same shift to time outdoors? Research is clear—spending time in nature benefits both human and environmental health. But to fully integrate this understanding into research, policy, and philanthropy, we need to bridge the gap between health and outdoor access. Too often, these areas are siloed, missing opportunities for deeper impact. That’s why Blue Sky Funders Forum is partnering with the Nature and Health Alliance to co-host philanthropy-centered conversations, starting with a pre-conference webinar on March 13 ahead of the Nature and Health Conference (April 27-29 | Houston, TX). ?? Funders are invited to join us in exploring how to help elevate nature as a critical health intervention, connect with peers, and advance this growing intersectional approach.
