Latest Circular (dt 18-7-2024) By Directorate of Maharashtra Fire Services has given guidelines regarding various Fire Protection measures for Parking areas and Parking Structures. One of such provisions mentions " But as of now, no Electric Vehicle charging point/station shall be allowed in the Automated car parking tower, Puzzle car parking and basement car parking." As of now may be interpreted till further notice. This is mainly because limitations on exstinguishing EV vehicle fires.
