Lucknow will be the first AI city in India, the initiative of the Uttar Pradesh government that aims to set up a robust ecosystem for AI. The announcement was made by Nitin Agarwal during the AI Vision Conclave. Advanced infrastructure will be offered to ensure the growth of the IT sector in the city and also attract investment. The key projects under this include an AI-powered messaging system for the 2025 Maha Kumbh, for translation of 41 languages for medical staff. This endeavor has been supported by Rs 10,000-crore AI mission by the Government of India, which puts Lucknow on the global map for AI.
