Our thoughts are with those affected by the recent storms across the southeast region of our country. In addition to outreach and assistance with evacuation for many of our most vulnerable members and patients, the Humana Foundation has pledged a total of $1.5 million in relief efforts to the communities affected. “Being there to support the people and communities we serve, especially in times like this, is our main priority. With this being the second hurricane in just a few weeks, we’re completely focused on directing essential resources and care to everyone touched by Hurricane Milton,” said Tiffany Benjamin, CEO of the Humana Foundation.?

A quick update.. All Things Open 2024 is taking place as planned October 27-29 in Raleigh. Hurricane Helene hit Western NC very hard but (for the most part) spared the eastern part of the state and the RTP. We are beyond thankful. Love and strength to all of those impacted. And thanks to everyone who has reached out to inquire. Our community remains the best in all the world.

Today, we announced more than $30M in initial relief funding for the unnatural devastation across Western North Carolina from Hurricane Helene. Dogwood is prioritizing support for local organizations that will help local people and organizations now and in the days to come. We are actively working with local, regional and national partners to attract additional capital to the region and joining partners to advocate for public dollars. Recently, some of our Steritech Specialists helped our partners at Denny's serve hot breakfasts to folks in the community of Asheville, NC, a town devastated by Hurricane Helene. The Denny's Mobile Diner broke an all-time record, serving over 3,000 meals to folks still recovering from the impacts of the hurricane and thanks to these guys, Steritech was a part of serving this deserving community! ?? #SteritechConnects
