Just as enduring is the age-old question: “What makes a company resilient?”, I find the enquiry around How does a trailer company reposition itself amidst evolving transportation trends? equally fascinating. Let's dive into this. In an industry as dynamic and competitive as trailer manufacturing, remaining stagnant is a slippery slope towards obsolescence. So here's the million-dollar question: How can we reposition trailers? Here’s what I am convinced about: ? Innovation and Flexibility: Invest in research and development to match the industry's technological advancements. From electric automation to effective weight reductions, staying on the cutting-edge is paramount. ? Customer Centricity: Amplify the voice of your customer. Establish two-way communication channels, invite feedback, implement changes. It's simple - When you understand what your customers want, you're better equipped to provide it. ? Environmental Sustainability: With the rise in environmental consciousness, adopting greener operations isn't just a virtue, it's a necessity. Be it implementing tech-oriented tools or reducing waste, our planet deserves our attention. But it's not just about repositioning the products. It's also about reshaping your place in the industry. Here is a strikingly simple thought - ?? Be an educator, not just a supplier! ?The trailer industry, dense with jargon and innovative technology, can overwhelm those who aren’t intimately familiar with the ins and outs. By playing the role of an educator, companies can bridge gaps in understanding, forge closer ties with their customers, and position themselves as industry leaders. Given that 'repositioning' often requires radical, structural changes that can be risky and complex, it’s crucial to prioritize proper planning, a robust strategy, and most importantly, perseverance. As I weigh out what works and what requires evolution, I am inspired by this ever-changing landscape called the trailer industry. I am energised by the mountain of challenges and the prospect of navigating them. As we continue to explore this transformative journey, I’d welcome your insights. How do you see trailer repositioning playing out? What opportunities and challenges do you envision? #RepositioningTrailers #TransportationTrends #Innovation #CustomerCentricity

My granddaughters love Radio Flyer #GrowWithMeRacer, and they can use it from age 1.5 years to 4 years as the product is designed to expand and adapt to the growth of children. It is an example of #ProductsThatGrow which combine two attributes that companies today are especially keen to leverage: customer value and sustainability. #ProductsThatGrow can help move businesses beyond the environmental quicksand of planned obsolescence, a practice that encourages consumers to frequently replace products. Read Nov-Dec 2024 Harvard Business Review article. CEO of Radio Flyer Robert Pasin told us: “By designing products like the #GrowWithMeRacer with extended lifecycles and evolving experiences, we fulfill our mission of bringing smiles to our customers and creating warm memories that last a lifetime”. Aretto Embodied, Inc. Fairphone Deep Optics Tesla John Deere are companies that have introduced #ProductsThatGrow. Imagine, if you will, a future of urban logistics where vehicles glide silently through city streets, carrying essential goods, reducing congestion, and emitting not a trace of pollution. This is not the distant realm of science fiction, but a very real prospect emerging today, powered by an unassuming champion: the humble cargobike. In the intricate web of human commerce and city life, cargobikes are proving to be a revolutionary yet understated force. Unlike trucks or vans that belch smoke and require expansive streets, cargobikes move with a gentle, unassuming power—efficient, compact, and nimble. They are humanity’s answer to a simpler question, asked time and again in the vast annals of history: how do we move what we need, where we need, in the most harmonious way possible? By turning to cargobikes for last-mile logistics, we’re embracing a solution that respects the scale of the cityscape and prioritizes the health of our planet. They occupy the space of a few pedestrians, use only the energy we invest, and connect people to goods and services in a way that feels more human, more intentional. Perhaps, in a way, cargobikes are part of an evolution in thought—a reminder that advancement isn’t only about building the biggest, fastest machines but creating solutions that let us live lightly on this Pale Blue Dot. The technology, while relatively simple, embodies a profound insight: our grandest achievements sometimes emerge from our most modest ideas. To the dreamers, the engineers, the logisticians, and the riders shaping this vision—know that your work propels us toward a world where cities are built not only for profit or speed, but for people and the planet. Here’s to reimagining logistics and, perhaps, reimagining ourselves in the process.

We are delighted to introduce THE REMAKERS, our new remanufacturing venture dedicated to breathing new life into disused car parts. Welcome to the future where sustainability is the new normal! ?? THE REMAKERS, based at the Flins Refactory, is now part of The Future Is NEUTRAL’s portfolio and brings its contribution to extend the life of the products in use. This unit continues a rich heritage of expertise dating back to 1949. It consists of remanufacturing automotive components using the same industrial process as for new parts. Why is this so important? By doing so, THE REMAKERS limits the impact on virgin resources, saves energy, water and CO2 emissions, while offering customers parts that are as good as new at an average cost of 30% less. Spanning across 9 product families with over 11,000 references, from mechanical components to electronic parts, THE REMAKERS is a step ahead in the electric vehicle area, with the 1st circular economy remanufacturing offer for electric vehicles in Europe. THE REMAKERS's ambition is to become a European leader in the reconditioning of parts. We fully support this ambition as part of our commitment to develop all our activities. ?? Congratulations to all THE REMAKERS' team and stakeholders for bringing this new adventure to life: Rafael Tréguer, Patrice PARICHOUT, Thibault HUGUET, Radut Stephane, Caroline Beaumont, Jérémie BRASSAUD, Xavier Kaufman and Francois Delion.
