This morning EuropaBio - the European Association for Bioindustries co-hosted a roundtable discussion with MEP Fulvio Martusciello. The discussion with key stakeholders from the healthcare biotechnology ecosystem, guided by the recently published Charles River Associates study, covered how the GPL will impact the innovation ecosystem and what remains crucial to keep in mind going into the upcoming election cycle and beyond. Some key takeaways from the discussion include: ?? Predictability remains of critical importance to retaining the innovative companies that are Europe's strongest asset. ?? A baseline of incentives is necessary to foster a dynamic market in which smaller companies can align with the innovation cycle while maintaining their competitiveness. ??
