Sweetgrass Wellness seeking support for psilocybin retreats for Veterans ? Laura Silverman and Wayne Silverman created Sweetgrass Wellness two years ago to provide psilocybin assisted therapeutic retreats in San Miguel de Allende (SMA). We have a pilot program to support veterans to attend this retreat, and are asking for your support through GoFundMe: https://gofund.me/9fcd125b Immediate support is needed for the treatment one or two veterans for our retreat in San Miguel de Allende in March. The full cost per person is $5000 for a 5-day retreat. This includes all costs: medical evaluation, therapy sessions in advance of the retreat, airfare, lodging, meals, transportation to/from airport (domestic/foreign), medical screening, the psilocybin journey, supportive practices and excursions, and two integration therapy sessions after the retreat. We are partnering with Dr. Aneel Paulus, a Mayo Clinic oncologist who serves as our medical advisor. 100% of this contribution will go to support the costs of the prospect. June 8 is #GlobalWellnessDay (GWD)! Each year, #GWD is celebrated worldwide on the second Saturday of June to motivate individuals and the greater society to #livewell. According to Global Wellness Day (a non-profit organization), it's an international movement with the following overarching goals: ?To recognize the value of our lives ?To pause and think, even if it's for one day out of the year ?To be free from stressors of everyday life (and rid of bad habits) ?To make peace with ourselves ?To raise awareness about #livingwell and increase motivation — not just for today, but all year long GWD encourages people to implement seven simple practices, coined their "manifesto," to promote a full, wellness-rich life. Be sure to start small and gradually incorporate many or all of these good habits into your day: 1. Set aside time to walk for at least 60 minutes. 2. Drink more water. At least two liters per day is recommended. 3. Don't use plastic bottles — opt for your favorite reusable cup! 4. Eat healthy food. A balanced, plant-based diet of various fruits and vegetables will help fuel your body appropriately. 5. Do a good deed: How can you make someone's day? 6. Share a meal with your loved ones. It doesn't have to be fancy! Take the time to break bread and connect with those who are important to you. 7. Go to bed by 10 p.m. Experts suggest adults should sleep seven to nine hours per night. ????How To Get More Patients In Your Clinic: 5 Easy Strategies???? . . . . . 1. Get Existing Patients To Rebook You don’t need a schedule full of new patients. You just need a full schedule. It’s easier to get existing patients to rebook than to find new ones. Schedule follow-up appointments before patients leave your clinic. You can?get patients to rebook with you?by educating them, creating a positive experience, and developing an on-going treatment plan. A little incentive works too. Things like loyalty programs, package discounts, and memberships keep people coming back. 2. Build A Referral Network With Other Wellness Practitioners Network with healthcare providers and wellness practitioners in your area. Their patients could be your patients and vice versa. These are people patients trust. A recommendation for your services from another provider carries serious weight. Here are a few ways to connect and get referrals from other providers: Talk to your doctor, dentist, chiropractor, yoga instructor, or whoever takes care of you. Tell them about what you do and how you can help their patients. Connect with other practitioners online on?LinkedIn?and build relationships and community there. Hand deliver a letter of introduction to providers in your neighborhood. Make a good impression by personally handing your letter (and maybe a special treat) to their receptionist. 3.
