If you ever doubted that August is a quiet period for Venture Capital check the French fundraising reports. For the past weeks, no financing rounds have been announced in the french ecosystem. Only 2 investments have been announced for the moment : Morpho Labs (Fintech/Blockchain) : 45,8M€? Jared (Fintech) : 1M€ This is the worst month since the post-Covid era. In Q3 2023, crypto startups raised $1.97B across 338 deals. Fast forward to Q3 2024, and we've seen $2.4B deployed through 478 deals, a 21.5% increase. The numbers may not be as large as we expected to see. But slowly we are getting to where we want, we are increasingly reliable, attracting more users and generating more TVL. Draw your conclusions.
