Merci a #EuroAppMobility, Jean Arthuis et ses équipes pour l'organisation des secondes assises de la mobilité des apprentis dans les locaux de la commission européenne à Bruxelles. La premiere édition avait été accueillie par le Cnam. Un événement riche, stimulant et essentiel sur un sujet crucial pour le développement des compétences nécessaires à alimenter la compétitivité de l'Europe autant qu'à l'accomplissement personnel et professionnel des apprentis. Ce fut l'occasion de partager les pratiques sur le r?le des référents et coordinateurs mobilités mais aussi de formaliser un appel commun à destination de l'Union Européenne en vue de l'encourager a soutenir beaucoup plus le développement de ces echanges europeens pour les apprentis. Parmis les propositions qui seront soumises dans cet appel, on peut citer la nécessité de créer un espace europeen de l'apprentissage a l'image de celui de l'enseignement supérieur classique. Le texte a été approuvé par un vote symbolique unanime a la fin des assises. Les diagnostics concernant la valeur et l'importance des retombées de la mobilité des apprentis sont partagés et acceptés au plan international. ?? Thrilled to announce the kickoff of the 2nd General Assembly On Mobility Of Apprentices! Together with Eurochambres and #EAfA, we're convening leaders in Brussels at Le Comité européen des régions to explore strategies for advancing apprenticeship mobility. Sophia Eriksson Waterschoot invites states to address long-term mobility issues and prioritize removing obstacles primarily rooted in national realities. Marie-Pierre Vedrenne emphasizes that European youth have borne a heavy toll during the health crisis, and the priority must be to provide them with new perspectives and opportunities. She advocates for the restoration of the youth's trust in European integration, asserting that the expansion of apprentice mobility stands as a pivotal catalyst for deeper youth engagement with the European project. Nelly FESSEAU declares that apprentice mobility has been a key priority for Agence Erasmus+ France / Education Formation Education for a decade. She calls for further action and emphasizes that agencies have a role to play, notably through contact seminars. These agency-led events can contribute to creating international dynamics and forging partnerships. She invites everyone to the 2nd European Apprenticeship Mobility Meeting on November 12th and 13th, 2024. Fran?ois Decoster, speaks as a representative of the Committee of the Regions, the event host. He believes that European regions have a leading role to play alongside states in providing more opportunities for youth and strengthening education & social cooperation. ???? Jemena, what a fantastic 2 year graduate program it was ?? Rotating through 5 different teams has given me incredible opportunities and unmatched exposure to the business of which I cannot be prouder. Special thanks to my rotation managers Alain Tamara, James Osborne, Kiera Poustie, Thuc Vu and D'Agostini Paul for their support and guidance as they, along with their teams took substantial time to show me how their business areas work and allowed me to be heavily involved in the day to day. Their knowledge shows me the business is in very competent hands. The graduate opportunities provided by the learning and development team were fantastic, thanks to André Gomez and Brett Watson for getting us to do ?? 3 presentations, some 30 minutes long with 20 minutes of questions ???1 shark tank business pitch ???5 workshops on everything from speech writing, to networking and personal brand A special shoutout to the many graduates I have worked with along the way. I’ll share some of my highlights from the program; Business Performance: o??Executed accurate and timely financial statements, with monthly reporting and meetings across the business. o??Analyzed variances and trends for effective reporting. o??Developed communication skills with senior management and stakeholders. Jemena Networks: o??Gained a deeper understanding of the regulatory framework. o??Explored network operations, maintenance, and capital expenditure planning. o??Delved into investment decisions and operational processes. o Visited Sydney office overseeing 1.4M gas customers' planning and operations. Strategy: o??Collaborated on board papers, refining strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. o??Compiled complex information and presented it concisely. Corporate Finance: o??Explored tax compliance and planning. o??Assisted cash flow forecasting, liquidity and got to observe large public bond issues. o??Conducted financial modelling and scenario analysis for projects. Zinfra: o??Immersed in physical projects, gaining insights into cost flow and project lifecycles. o??Acquired valuable exposure to project performance drivers and management of project finances. I’m excited to see where my Career at Jemena takes me!
Celebrating our graduating class of 2023! Late last year, seven of our team successfully completed our graduate program, after navigating four semesters, three group presentations and one shark tank experience. Pictured are the Melbourne cohort with their managers at a celebratory lunch. We're proud to see their growth over the last two years and are delighted to see the space they have carved out for themselves in the business, with many having multiple offers at the end of their rotations. Les athlètes des J.O le savent et s'entrainent de manière intensive avec leurs équipes. Comment se préparer aux compétitions pour être le meilleur, mettre à distance un public récalcitrant, activer l'énergie après une blessure, avoir confiance en soi... Tout cela peut s'adapter au milieu de l'entreprise par la sophrologie. Préparation, préparation, préparation.
