https://lnkd.in/dD-t4mpa At my university, we are developing technological solutions to the pressing challenges faced while conducting examinations. We recently published the results of applying Generative AI?technology to evaluate students'?handwritten responses to short—and long-answer questions. I used it to evaluate the mid-semester examination conducted for a course on Development Engineering offered to Fifth-semester B. Tech (Computer Engineering) students. I observed a 70% reduction in time to evaluate answer books with over 90% accuracy by an AI-based assistant. The AI assistant also gives feedback on grammatical errors. We plan to provide additional features that offer corrective feedback to students for wrong answers.
