Earlier this month I posted about our efforts to raise awareness and funds for the hostages and their families. Today I would now like to invite you all to join our efforts through donation to the AID-FUND.
The AID-FUND has seed funded many important efforts. The most notable one is the "Bring Them Home Now" freedom tags which have been distributed worldwide, raising more than $8 million to date for the?families of the hostages and missing families Forum.
This vital funding provided much needed financial relief, allowing families to focus their efforts on bringing their loved one’s home. In addition to the tags sold, many are distributed for free to various organizations, such as the Scouts and Hillel. This enables widespread distribution of the tags on college campuses and among youth groups, contributions can make a significant difference in the lives of these families and their fight for the release of the hostages.

We are also excited to announce that we provided seed funding for an important full length documentary film produced by Valentina Castellani at Quinn Studios in Los Angeles and Riccardo Romani, previously from Sky. The film chronicles the 2023 protest movement against the judicial reform legislation, capturing the evolution of the movement. It brought hundreds of thousands of Israelis to the streets weekly, successfully halting the legislative process until the tragic events of October 7. The film continues by covering the horrific events and the early days of the war, continuing to present day. This film will provide profound insights into these pivotal moments in Israeli society, preserving their significance for future generations.

In addition, we are behind the launch of “The Justice League”, an organization with the purpose of forming legal strategy and tolls to oppose the judicial overhaul. The organization will provide legal counsel to protest movements and organizations, filing petitions against police brutality, and political acts that undermines the democratic institutions of the state of Israel. The leadership of the organization will comprise of former leaders of the defense community.

Its first?campaign?is?to hold police officers accountable in civil action for violent actions taken against protesters in the “Bring Them Home Now” and the “Election Now” movements, violence that exceeds the legal authority awarded in good faith to police officers. This initiative seeks justice for those harmed while exercising their right to protest. Next week, three significant test cases will be filed. These legal actions are crucial in defending civil rights and ensuring that law enforcement is held to the highest standards of conduct. Your support is vital in sustaining this fight for justice and protecting the rights of all citizens.
