Well, I’m running a little behind, but what a year this has been. My 1st anniversary at Allies was 2/15/24.?I’ve worked in mortgages for over 22 years. A short time at a title company researching title properties & a short time working as a transaction coordinator for a residential real estate agent.?I went to college to be a Paralegal & real estate was part of my studies. During my studies, I said I would never get into real estate.?I did not like it at all. Well, never say never because God had other plans & that’s exactly where I ended up. Unfortunately, the mortgage industry is not a very stable career to be in. When rates are down, there are jobs everywhere & everyone wants to give you a loan. But, when rates go up, then there's the possibility of layoffs, broker shops closing, mortgage companies going bankrupt, people being out of a job & some people even losing their homes. ?It’s a rough industry to work in. For me, I had become tired.?Tired of being laid off every 3 to 5 years. Every time the rates would go up, my job would be in jeopardy.?I needed a career change. Something more stable. I needed to be somewhere where I could dig myself in & grow some roots where I could grow & flourish. I needed God to move some mountains for me, so I spent a lot of time on my knees in prayer. ?That’s when God laid Allies Commercial Realty in my lap. It was for the position of transaction coordinator.?I thought, well it’s still in the same industry I’ve been working in, sort of. So, I applied.?I didn’t think it would be much more different than residential. The interview went GREAT! I felt a connection with both Adam & Claudia. By the end of the interview, the job offer was for transaction coordinator/office manager. By the next day, I was extended the offer & I gratefully accepted. After a few days on the job, the job title blossomed into that of the operations manager. Something completely out of my comfort zone, but something Adam & Claudia thought I would be perfect for. Then a few weeks later they proceeded to tell me about the new business they were starting, a private office & co-working business, they wanted me to be the operations manager of that as well. WOW, can you imagine the wave of emotions that flowed over me the next few days processing that! Their faith & trust in me was overwhelming & meant the world to me. God has blessed me more than words could ever speak. So, here we are a year later & I’ve been learning the business for commercial real estate, the business for private offices & co-working, & QuickBooks for both companies, I got to be a part of naming Brandnook & remodeling the building where Allies Commercial Realty & Brandnook reside. This year has been a wild ride, to say the least. It's been amazing, stressful, fun, & an incredibly fast year. ?My head is still swimming.?But, I can’t wait to see what God has in store for this next year & the years to come. ?Here’s to the future!?Let’s go, God, lead the way!
Today we are celebrating Kyleene's one year of dedication at Allies! Her commitment and vibrant energy have truly enriched our team. We're beyond grateful to have her with us and thank you for all that you do. Here's to many more years of success and collaboration! ?
