We’re calling this period of time?Rest Mode, which is our response to a society that’s constantly telling us to move faster. And just like feeling burnt out isn’t a solo experience, the radical act of resting is also meant to be shared. When you don't feel safe in your body, your minds start chattering a lot. This chatter happens because your mind is trying to make you feel safe when other ways to feel safe don't work. The mind does this by trying to control things, worrying, judging, imagining things, or thinking too much about stuff. How safe do you feel in your body?? Let’s explore with a simple yes or no test: 1. Do you often feel tense or on edge without a clear reason? 2. Do you find it difficult to relax and unwind, even when you have free time? 3. Do you frequently worry about things that might happen in the future? 4. Do you struggle to trust your body’s signals and sensations? 5. Do you often criticize or judge yourself for how you look or feel physically? 6. Do you feel disconnected from your body, like it’s separate from your thoughts and emotions? 7. Today, we're delving into a slightly different but crucially essential aspect - our Emotional Frequency. But first, you might ask, what exactly is Emotional Frequency? Emotional Frequency is an interesting concept that pertains to the current emotional state we find ourselves in. It's the energetic vibration of the feelings or emotions you're experiencing most frequently. Our emotions, similar to sound or light, carry a certain frequency that can either be high (joy, love, gratitude) or low (fear, anger, guilt). Just as we tune a radio to a specific frequency to hear a specific station, our emotional frequency tunes into specific experiences in our life, thereby attracting similar frequencies. For instance, if you're frequently 'tuned' to stress and anxiety, you may observe parallel experiences reflected in your work, relationships, and overall health. On the other hand, if you're resonating at a higher frequency of love, joy, and gratitude, you would likely encounter numerous joyful experiences and opportunities.
