Our firm works with over 500 individuals on Wall Street, why do some of the smartest finance professionals in the world hire financial advisors? 1. They are running through the week at 80mph and even faster on the weekends and, to the extent they have time, they want to focus on non-finance related items in their personal life 2. Despite majoring in business, they were never taught personal finances in school and appreciate having someone in their corner to bounce ideas off of tailored to their specific situation 3. The risk of DIY'ing it is too high...They need help thinking big picture about the career trajectory they are on & how their financial planning should be different than more traditional financial advice they see online 4. Recognize that they live and breathe markets/business news and they have developed inherent biases as it relates to their own investing & planning (e.g. short-term thinking) 5. They are curious to know where they stack up versus peers and where they are ahead or behind relative to their peer set By working within a target market like this (and others), we have been able to identify the most common problems, concerns, and frustrations & create customized financial plans to serve a very unique clientele.
