This is what happens when you let chaos & anarchy reign. Instead, set rules, follow the rules & enforce the rules. The theme is the same - for example, when you don't enforce shoplifting laws, what happens? Theft. Lots of it. When you ignore people defacing statues, what do you think happens? More defacement. When you allow students, professors & outsiders to go (way!) beyond a rule-abiding, peaceful protest, with bullying, threats, trespassing & attacks on property & people, what else do you expect?
