Have you observed gambling venues encourage someone to gamble even when they are showing signs of distress? Have you or someone you know been allowed to gamble despite asking to be self-excluded? Venues "have a duty to take all reasonable steps to prevent and minimise harm from the operation of gaming machines, by monitoring the welfare of customers, discouraging intensive and prolonged gaming machine play, and intervening when a customer is displaying behaviour that is consistent with gambling harm". We now have a link to report breaches directly to the regulator in Victoria. Remember to provide as much detail as possible (location, times, dates, etc).
