I wanted to give a quick shout out to the Oregon Field Sales team at Astound! The last 9+ months have seen a new force rise up in the Pacific Northwest. The team was good before, but it really hit it's stride in the first quarter of this year. Just a few of 2024 accomplishments below: - 67% year over year improvement for Q1 2024 versus Q1 2023 - 3.5% Penetration growth YOY in PDX Metro (most competitors negative) - Only team Top 2 in the country for the last 3 quarterly National Sales Incentives - #2 for the Spring-> total sales increase per rep - #1 for the Summer (along with peers in CA) -> volume of sales events - #2 for the Fall (along with peers in CA) -> Beat your best total sales - Arcadio Salinas IV most improved YOY - Sean Frenette the Astound South MVP - Team averaging over 140% to representative goals the past 3 months I have had the opportunity to hand out 6K plus in cash incentive prizes to this team in the past few weeks! It has been an inspiring effort and performance. We are not done yet, we want to see that #1 spot become the normal while most importantly helping the communities we serve have great quality internet at a good price, as we all wrestle with inflation. We measure our success by how many people and relationships we build along the way. Shout out to @Zach Jenisch & Sean Frenette for leading the way in our Portland MDU Market. Kudos to Arcadio Salinas IV and Todd J Smith for anchoring our Single Family community efforts. BTW- we are still growing. We are part of USA Today's Top Work Places in the US two years running and with new leaders like Toni Murphy (EVP/COO Astound) the sky is the limit! Early in my career, I was advised always to remember before presentations that I knew the most about our products in the room.
