We need more people thinking deeply about how to care for people in need and dignified ways of doing it. True Charity is one of those organizations that I really resonate with, and the thought leadership they are putting out on the topic is top notch. This is a great article about the downsides of federal funding for nonprofits that touches on the philosophical as well as the practical.
