A few months back, Sarah Oloko started taking on this project of split testing some thumbnails for BET. Here’s what we’ve learnt so far: Thumbnails are so important, because it gives the viewer an immediate idea about what the video’s about, and helps them decide if they want to watch it. Through some testing we’ve done, using the split test feature on YouTube, we’ve found a few key facts that help us plan better thumbnails for BET: - High quality images that clearly show what the video is about, and the key talent, usually works well. - Facial expressions help elicit emotion and encourage viewers to click. - Zoom in: close up images work better, as 3 in 4 adults are watching YouTube on their mobile. - Consistent branding drives credibility, and makes it easier for a viewer to click on the video. Access to care and affordability of care. We’ve gotten to the point too much with MAPD’s where people only want to know what they are getting for free rather do all my doctors and hospitals accept my plan. I love the companies that really keep that as a top priority instead of “here’s your grocery card” or “here’s your Part B give back” Access to care in the managed care plans will stop all of this nonsense and bad mouthing of MA plans! Get better with access to care instead of access to free groceries!
