Together with fellow student reps, Daulet R., Khalidh Mohamed, Leonardo Faria, Md Taiful Islam, Sarina Saiyed, Tatenda Tatenda, and Thomas Manship, we met today to represent our peers’ voices and bring fresh perspectives to the Student-Staff Liaison Committee (#SSLC). The truth is, while our department is strong, it is not perfect—nor would we want it to be. Perfection suggests an end, and we believe in continuous development. Our role now is to preserve this dialogue, as previous #SSLCs have done, ensuring that the degree we walk away with evolves alongside our ambitions as students. So, I say to my fellow students: this is our moment to make a mark—get involved, speak up, and shape your degree. Updates to follow in the comments.

5 weeks to go. Here I am, trying to recollect how I felt at just 5 weeks to Common Entrance examinations. I'm wondering if I personally felt whatever it was or my parents felt it and transferred the tension to me! Now, now, now, 5 weeks to SSCE and JAMB were a totally different cuppa-coffee! I guess it is safe enough to say that we are all living with indelible marks of going through the "valley-of-the-shadow-of-threats". A very lopsided ratio of threats to our existence on days we appeared leisurely and encouragements on days when we clearly were listless from studying. We are now at another 5 weeks mark and we are absolutely clear on matters.
