Happy National Doctors' Day to all of the endocrinologists out there, but a special thank you to members of the T1D Exchange Quality Improvement Collaborative (T1DX-QI)! Because of your commitment to improving care for people with diabetes, we are seeing real-world changes in health outcomes. The T1DX-QI has such a positive impact because it empowers individual providers to identify areas of unmet need within their centers. They make changes in care that scale up through the T1DX-QI to create best practices, which are then implemented at other centers. ?? Tomorrow is World Diabetes Day – a day to bring awareness to a global health issue impacting millions of lives. With over 537 million people living with diabetes worldwide, it’s crucial to continue advocating for accessible healthcare, research, and education on diabetes management. Managing diabetes requires not only personal commitment but also a supportive community and comprehensive healthcare systems. Whether you or someone you know is affected, let’s take today as a reminder of the importance of regular health screenings, healthy lifestyle choices, and, above all, empathy toward those living with this condition. This year’s theme, Access to Diabetes Care, reminds us that while diabetes management has come a long way, there's still work to be done to make sure everyone has the tools they need. Let's commit to raising awareness, supporting those affected, and contributing to a future where diabetes care is accessible for all. #WorldDiabetesDay #DiabetesAwareness #Healthcare #AccessToCare #Advocacy #pharmacaresb
