This International Women's Day, we recognize two trailblazing accountants: Christine Ross, CPA, and Mary T. Washington Wylie, CPA. Both talented women fought prejudice to earn their CPA credentials, becoming the first female CPA in the U.S. and first African-American female CPA respectively. Thanks to their determination and example, many women have found their passion in accounting, to the point where women make up the small majority of registered CPAs today (56%). #WomenInLeadership #CPAFacts
