HEART OF A HERO: Congratulations to Glorivy Boylston, ASN, RN, on her recent DAISY Award for her life-saving actions earlier this year. ?? Glorivy was visiting the Tampa area earlier this year, and while she was at a community pool relaxing with her family she heard a child yell out that her twin sister needed help. The child's pulseless body was pulled from the water and Glorivy sprang into action. She started CPR and eventually gave three rounds of CPR, getting a pulse and reviving the child. She continued administering to the child until the ambulance arrived. The child was transported to Tampa General via life flight. Glorivy saved that child's life that day - any delay in care would have had catastrophic lifelong results. This incredible act of courage exemplifies Glorivy’s commitment to her calling as a nurse - no matter where she is. Please join us in celebrating her heroic dedication! ????
