Bronze Award for KLEIBERIT do Brasil ForMóbile 2024 After four days (June 30th to July 03rd 2024) of intense exchange of experiences and business generation, the 10th edition of ForMóbile 2024 came to the end, consolidating itself once again as a reference in South America and an important showcase for companies in the sector of which KLEIBERIT is an example. The largest furniture and wood industry fair in Latin America brought together more than 550 exhibiting brands and welcomed more than 50 thousand professionals and major players from the industry segments in five pavilions at S?o Paulo Expo. During the fair, KLEIBERIT focused its activities on the presentation of Biosustainable (BIO-based) adhesives for all operating areas of the company (Lamination, coating, edgebanding) and all technologies (PUR, EVA, PVAc, etc.) that they are manufacturing. Visitors were also able to follow demonstrations on the use and functionality of the products, as well as clarify doubts about the technologies, systems and operation. Having sustainable actions in the industry is a differentiator for the development of companies that seek competitiveness, responsibility and innovation. But, when we talk about being more sustainable, it is necessary to understand that this concept must be implemented not just in specific actions, but in the corporate culture, in order to involve all the company's decisions and actions, and this is what KLEIBERIT does. Araceli Silveira, VP of Sustainability and Audience at Informa Markets Latam said “More and more brands are acting on sustainability, whether in their business strategy or in the company's own initiatives. ForMóbile?encourages them to follow best sustainability practices across the board, as society itself is demanding this.” With this in mind, ForMóbile created an awards program to highlight companies that encourage the implementation of a sustainable business culture in the fair's stands, and KLEIBERIT do Brasil won the Bronze award, where all components of the stand, including walls, floors and platforms, furniture, equipment and lighting were 100% reusable. Overall, ForMóbile 2024 was a success for KLEIBERIT do Brasil. Proposte set for another Villa Erba stay Fabric exhibition Proposte is set to remain at its traditional home of Villa Erba, despite efforts to quell companies exhibiting outwith the show. ‘Proposte will remain at Villa Erba in 2025, adhering to the existing lease agreement. The 32nd edition will take place on May 6- 8,’ says Alessandro Tessuto, Propsoste president. However, he warned that the show was again looking at how to kerb piggybacking of the event by companies showing in Cernobbio but not part of the exhibition. ‘In the meantime, we are collaborating with the exhibition centre management, the Municipality of Cernobbio, and Confindustria Como on a project to regulate participation from companies outside the exhibition.’ The 31st edition of Proposte started with a ‘significant turnout on the opening day’ of 6 May, before ‘a calmer atmosphere’ on the following two days. The furnishing, curtain, trimmings, and wallcovering fabrics show saw a 4% increase in visitors, with non-Italian visitors from 70 countries making up 70% of attendees. There was ‘stability’ in attendance from Germany and the UK, a slight increase from the US and France, and after years of stability, an increase in Italian buyers. The Lake Como exhibition’s special areas in Ala Lario, including Cometa Formazione, Alliance for European Flax-Linen & Hemp, and Fashion Room, garnered considerable interest.
