Q.F.- Quantum Prevention of Insolvency. Quantum film requires: screenwriter, cinematographer, editor, director and producer in one person. For the success of the mission, telepathic communication with the "actors" is necessary with the quality of invisibility in physical space (perception of the environment and not a physical phenomenon). That person could be called a quantum mechanic. A film idea that influenced the development of QF. Nicolas Roeg https://lnkd.in/dkdP5Zrd

Just recorded a new monologue about my ideas on my current life and all my creative projects and the desire to create a full-length feature documentary film about my public access TV show and current art "Goddess Kring" and debating on if me and my friends can do it or if we need to get a production company involved so that we can make a high quality, viable, interesting documentary that is professionally done and well done technically as well as obviously having a great story, a compelling and entertaining story for the public, etc. For real in a pragmatic diligent way https://lnkd.in/gricfAMk

As a director, I think it is extremely important to understand the process of acting. I believe that this knowledge makes you a better director and allows you to communicate more effectively with your actors. Coming from an acting background myself, I can connect with actors because I know what it feels like to nail a rehearsal but then bomb a performance on stage or in front of the camera. Conversely, I also know what it's like to break a leg and have an acting experience where everything clicks perfectly. This understanding allows me to be more empathetic, have greater patience, and give constructive feedback or notes in a way that doesn’t feel pushy. When I started my directing journey, just like everyone else, I used my friends or peers as actors. I also worked with a lot of inexperienced actors who struggled with the intricacies of acting, like active listening instead of just listening to respond. I would always make my actors watch this brilliant MasterClass by Michael Caine. It is extraordinary how he breaks down acting in a way that seems complex but makes it so simple. Now, I've found my groove as a director and work with more experienced actors and people at different levels. I still send them this video, and we discuss it afterward. I kid you not, everyone’s mind is always blown. Check out a snippet below where Michael Caine discusses how an actor should perform in close-up shots. https://lnkd.in/eKKrZECc

Is your 10+ person production crew for vanity or for value? When you prioritize talent, creativity and ambition you can go just as far. You’ve probably heard of the mythical man month: adding more people to a project doesn’t mean you’ll operate at a higher efficiency. The same can be said for video productions. #efficiency #pdm #productmanagement
New work! Filmed with A.K. Cycles in Denver,?with just a couple lights and a few hours in the shop on a Saturday. We discussed the origin, mission, and vision for A.K. and what Alex hopes to see the shop produce in years to come. This series of projects highlighting local businesses and makers has been a great way to polish some skills and try new creative tactics. www.lostfoxcreative.com https://lnkd.in/dwckqSNG #localbusiness #film #videographer #videowork #newwork #smallbusiness

This is the Maestro who had the 'audacity' to transcribe for full orchestra the most iconic classical organ work of all time ... can you guess the title of that composition and the composer? Hint: Walt Disney's Fantasia. In the meantime, here is Stokowski conducting Nimrod.
