As the year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on everything that’s happened. Honestly, I started the year without clear goals. Along the way, I set them some I smashed, others I completely missed but that’s life. This year hasn’t been about perfection... It’s been about learning. If you’re feeling like you didn’t achieve much, take a moment. Don’t write this year off. Look at it as the year you learned some tough lessons. The wins might not be obvious, but if you’re still standing, still showing up, that’s a win in itself ?? It’s easy to compare when others share their highlights, but your journey is uniquely yours. Some days, just making it through is an accomplishment. Celebrate that. This year might not have turned out how you hoped, but it’s shaped you, taught you, and made you stronger. Take those lessons, leave the self-doubt behind, and give yourself some well-earned credit. You made it through, and that’s enough. Next year, you’ll bring everything you’ve learned and grow even more. Here’s to resilience, growth, and a brighter 2025. I can not wait to bring in next year with lots of amazing goals and new chapters on the horizon ??

The most important celebration before this year ends, your celebration with you! Not just for the wins, But, For all those -“Let’s do this” ideas that always seem like genius plans at 2 AM, You know the ones, where you’re suddenly convinced that learning a new skill or starting a side hustle is what will help you level up! Yes, some do turn out to be exciting milestones, and some may not work out. But isn’t that what makes it all so worthwhile? The thrill of trying something new, the chaos of figuring it out, and even the lessons from those “what was I thinking” moments. - for all those moments when you were there for yourself, be it in the lows or the highs! No one knows you better than you! Many times, things might not go as we planned, but we do pivot and it goes on :) -and for all the wins you had, big or small, a win is a win :) So here’s to all the plans, amazing experiences, spontaneous adventures, and projects that made 2024 unforgettable! 2025 awaits ? New year New possibilities :)

Graduating from university as "best graduating student" is not a requirement for graduation, a first class degree is not a requirement to graduate from any school. A second class degree (upper or lower), will get you a certificate, even a third class and a pass, and the certificate will say you have, "satisfied the requirements..." But, there's more to graduating than satisfying the requirements. Graduating with a First Class is a choice. From when you enter the school, you start to work towards that choice. Everything you do, every action, every study, every book, every class attended, every group study, every research done, every academic discussion, and every article read is geared towards achieving, maintaining and protecting that goal of a first class degree. You don't NEED to be excellent, you WANT to be excellent. Excellence is a CHOICE. You can get away with doing the bare minimum, but is that what you want? Excellence gets you noticed, putting you in the top percentile. Excellence is from the Latin, excellere, (to rise or project). It is related to the Latin collis (hill), and culmen (top). Excellence means to stand on a hill. And when you stand on a hill, EVERYBODY SEES YOU! It's a brand new week. Make this week count!
