My mission for Tentshare has been to simplify the process of sharing outdoor equipment, making it safer and more accessible for everyone to connect with nature. I think we've done it (with tweaks and adjustments incoming)! Look at these pacers from the Wyndhamvale parkrun by parkrun Australia - a free timed 5KM Run on Saturday morning. There is a huge Leadership talents exhibited in pacing - Helping people to do the mentioned KMs in certain time ! The pacers - Believe in themselves first - Practice and achieve the timings themselves first ( 22.5, 25, 30, 35, 40 mins for 5KM ) - They decide to stand up to elevate others - On the day, they set the tone for their pack - They understand their fellow runners quickly - They encourage all the fellow runners from all dimensions Sometimes leading at front, mingling in the middle, pushing from the back - They appreciate every single milestone win - They give constructive feedback and tips to finish off the run smoothly - They push for Personal Best (PB) - They understand when not to push. - They learn from other pacers More than many leadership degrees could offer. I was the 35 mins pacer few months back along with bunch of some awesome pacers. Glad to helped 3 participants to get their 3 personal best timings Pushed my group of almost 14 to finish it strongly. I had a mix of junior, seniors, men, women different fitness levels and different ethinicities. Proud of each and every one of them !! I finished at last with 34:56 All, these pacers could have easily focussed on improving their own timings instead they decided to support and impact others up and they did it in style. Congrats to all pacers ! The Department for Transport recently announced that they will consider allowing e-scooter trials to launch in new areas. In our latest Insight Article, James Bolton, General Manager of Voi UK shares his top three tips for city stakeholders considering launching their own e-scooter trial. "At Voi, we have been delivering safe, sustainable and affordable shared micromobility in UK towns and cities since 2020. In that time, we have been responsible for almost 40 million e-scooter journeys here - around two thirds of the total number of trips that have taken place as part of the national e-scooter trials.
