Troubleshooting and Maintenance Tips by Xochitl Barajas, Marketing Coordinator Eco-Pro Here are some helpful tips to know for the summer. Check Air Filters: Dirty or clogged air filters can restrict airflow and reduce system efficiency. Regularly inspect and replace air filters, typically every 1-3 months, or as recommended by the manufacturer. Inspect Thermostat Settings: Ensure that the thermostat is set to the desired temperature and mode (cooling or heating). Replace batteries if necessary, and consider upgrading to a programmable or smart thermostat for better energy management. Click to read more.... https://lnkd.in/g4AtMv6M

Ever wondered how much you could save on your energy bills? Ventilation accounts for around 30% of total energy usage for a commercial kitchen. In a typical kitchen, fans will be running at 100% even when there is little to no activity happening on the cook-line. This leads to a large amount of wasted energy and excess carbon produced. With Cheetah, we can control your fan speeds in line with the kitchens demand and save you energy when there is little or no cooking. You could see reduced energy costs by up to 80%! Fun Fact Friday: The fundamental design and operation of cooling towers have not changed much since they were first developed over a century ago! While there have been improvements in materials, technology, and efficiency, the core principles of evaporative cooling has not significantly changed. We actually service a few cooling tower’s that are over 80 years old and still operational, which is pretty cool – no pun intended. #HCTS #CoolingTower #Century #Design #Operation #Cooling #Efficiency #HVAC #HVACEquipment #EvaporativeCooling #Evaporation #Improvement #Material #Technology #EnergyEfficiency #IndustrialEquipment #FunFacts #FactFriday #FunFactFriday #Century #EvaporativeCooling #Process #Cool

Innovation in the building sector creates sustainability – the Institute of Energy Systems and Fluid Engineering #zhawIEFE at the @ZHAW School of Engineering was actively involved in the 23rd status seminar of @BRENET in Windisch at the end of August. The seminar focused on net zero, circular economy, negative emission technologies and sufficiency. In two five-minute pitch sessions @Christian Stahel presented the results of the basic research study on energy efficiency in refrigeration systems, which the #zhawIEFE of the @ZHAW School of Engineering conducted for the @SIA Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects. The second pitch session was dedicated by @Christian Stahel to the study ‘Energetic comparison of cooling systems in supermarkets. It shows that supermarkets with plug-in (decentralised) cooling systems have the highest electricity consumption. They require significantly more energy for air conditioning the store than centralised cooling systems, which can also make optimal use of the heat from the refrigeration unit. The following are involved in the #zhawIEFE project: @Christian Stahel, @Manuel Diem, @Mirco Ganz, @Silvan Steiger and @Frank Tillenkamp. #Brenet, #Status seminar #supermarket #refrigerated display cabinets #energy efficiency #refrigeration systems
