NAEP NATIONAL AWARD: We are pleased to announce that the Excellence in Procurement, Category 2 goes to the University of the Pacific. The University of the Pacific implemented a centralized contracts lifecycle management system in 2019 that included policy and standardized approval workflows. The workflow for review through contract execution is automated based on contract type, risks, and required visibility across verticals within the organization. A central repository within the system allows for timely notifications to ensure cost savings and cost avoidance by effectively managing the lifecycle of the contract through renewal and termination. The largest impacts from this program have been increased visibility of active engagements, reduction in redundant or poorly managed contracts, and strengthened terms by using standardized templates built into the system and review process. #NAEPawards #procurement #procurementaward #award #winner #NAEPEPIC
