Like all major global tech companies, IBM has a formal partnership with NVidia. I've seen Microsoft & Google folk in my network sharing their NVidia relationships, which is no surprise given that NVidia is powering this current generation of AI. I'm curious as to how IBM Consulting is different, so I asked Copilot: Me> How is IBM's partnership different from other technology consulting firms? Copilot> IBM’s partnership with NVIDIA stands out in several ways compared to other technology consulting firms: Deep Understanding of NVIDIA’s Platform: IBM has a deep understanding of NVIDIA’s platform and portfolio, not only from a GPU perspective, but they’re also quickly pivoting to understand NVIDIA’s broader software story. Investment in Engineering Talent: IBM is investing in engineering talent to explain the opportunity and then translate that into simple terms so customers can move quickly and get started. Training and Enablement: IBM is investing in training and enablement for sales teams as well as service delivery capabilities. Open Ecosystem Approach: IBM emphasizes an open ecosystem approach, leveraging its 160,000 consultants and the IBM Garage engagement model to scale AI impact for clients. Industry-Specific AI Solutions: IBM is developing industry-specific AI solutions, accelerating time-to-value, and driving optimal business outcomes while fulfilling customers’ unique business and technology requirements. Digital Twin Applications: IBM Consulting is developing digital twin applications using NVIDIA technology to support supply chain and manufacturing sectors. These factors make IBM’s partnership with NVIDIA unique and differentiated from other technology consulting firms.?They are not just selling GPUs but a “full-stack platform” that includes purpose-built GPU systems, high-performance networking components, and a growing portfolio of free and commercial software for accelerated computing. 12 个月I would be hard pressed to believe that other firms aren't doing those things. MS engineers obviously understand the platform, we just announced an entire AI division (investment in engineering), the amount of training content for sellers is very high, and industry-specific solutions has been our thing for years now. I can't quite figure out what it means by an open ecosystems approach so that one might be unique. It's all good stuff, it's just not the core differentiators. I'm sure IBM has those; copilot just didn't spit them out.
