Awsome week at finOps X where we got to learn lots of good stuff and have loads of fun. We were able re-connect with old friends and have tons of very interesting chats on how others approach the challenges of finOps. Some highlights include of course the keynotes on where the foundation is heading, not only on #focus but on #sustainability and #hybrid as well among others. Really liked the technical approach of the conference and huge kudos to the finOps foundations for making it happen Really hope this will repeat itself in 2025 #Automation #finops #IBMCloudability #Cloud

Last feature to announce before FinOps Foundation FinOpsX. This time, the Optimization Dashboard! Another long time requested feature, this is one single place for all optimization recommendations across all clouds. With the addition of custom dashboards (which applies to all of these features) and access to the hundreds of assets we collect through cloud provider APIs, I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Know The Different Networking Modes That Exist Within Your Docker Containers ?? Docker has several different network modes that you should be aware of: Default Bridge ?? This is the default network mode for a Docker container without specifying its network. Docker containers that run on the same bridge can communicate with one another but are isolated from external networks. Host Network ?? Containers can share the host's network stack. Instead of being assigned a private IP, they use the host's network directly. Overlay Network ?? An Overlay Network allows containers running on different hosts to communicate with each other via an encrypted virtual network.
