Today, we honor our employees, patients, families and neighbor for the sacrifices they made while serving in the United States Armed Forces. We recognize the unique bond shared by those who have served, a connection forged through shared experiences and a deep understanding of what it means to put country above self. This connection transcends time and circumstance and offers comfort to our patients, like Lt. Claire Peschong and Boiler Operator II Jim Shea, during challenging times. Listening to these comments in the video you can see a common thread that “serving others” has AT LEAST a 2-fold benefit……..it obviously benefits the one being served, AND it also benefits the one serving!! Lesson to be learned: it’s always a WIN-WIN to serve.
